Foundation for Medical Care of Kern and Santa Barbara Counties & HealthEdge Administrators

The Foundation for Medical Care of Kern County is a third party insurance administrator (TPA) and has been in business for over 25 years. Services offered by the Foundation include claims processing, utilization review, customer service, and quality assurance for fully insured, and self-insured medical and dental plans. We are very proud of the reputation we have built as an organization that consistently delivers exceptional value to customers. It is that reputation that has made us one of the leading TPAs in California.

In February 2005, HealthEdge Administrators was incorporated for the purpose of marketing our newest medical, dental, and vision plans throughout California. We are now expanding several of our plans and services into the states of Arizona and Nevada. HealthEdge is wholly owned by the Foundation and provides the same exceptional value and service level to our customers.

HealthEdge Administrators is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Foundation for Medical Care of Kern and Santa Barbara Counties. Established in 1959, the Foundation represents one of the largest PPO Networks in California and Administers Self-Funded Medical and Dental Plans for Employers, Counties and Government Entities. HealthEdge Administrators provides service within the state of California.
